Island Culture at my fingertips β FAQ
π Custom Orders
How do custom sets work?
Every set is made-to-order and individually designed. Once your design is confirmed and payment is received, your order enters production.
Each set is created with intention and detail β never rushed.
What is the production time?
Standard sets: 5β10 business days
Statement / detailed sets: 10β21 business days
Wholesale orders: timeline provided upon confirmation
Production time does not include shipping time.
Can I modify my design after ordering?
Design adjustments may be accommodated prior to production. Once production begins, changes cannot be made.
π Wholesale & Bulk Orders (25+ Units)
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes. Wholesale options are available for qualified bulk orders.
Is a deposit required?
A 20% non-refundable production reservation fee is required to secure materials and reserve your production schedule.
Can I reduce my quantity after payment?
If a quantity reduction is requested before production begins, the 20% production reservation fee will be retained and the remaining balance will be adjusted based on the revised order total.
Once production begins, quantity changes are not permitted.
When will my wholesale order ship?
Shipment timelines are confirmed once the final quantity is approved. Extended shipment holds beyond 30 days must be confirmed in writing.
π Pricing Philosophy
Why are statement sets priced at a premium?
Statement designs are hand-drawn, highly detailed, and time-intensive. Pricing reflects artistry, materials, craftsmanship, and creative direction.
This is wearable art β not mass production.
π¦ Shipping
Do you ship outside of NYC?
Yes. We are NYC-based and ship domestically and internationally.
What if my package is delayed?
Once shipped, delivery timelines are managed by the carrier. Tracking information is provided.
Yes, 100%! This set is built on heavy-duty, salon-grade soft gel tips and reinforced with multiple layers of builder gel. If you care for them properly during wear and removal, you can reuse this collector's piece multiple times.
- Prep: Push back your cuticles, gently buff the surface of your natural nails to remove the shine, and clean them thoroughly with an alcohol wipe. [1, 2]
- Glue: Apply a small drop of high-quality nail glue to the back of the press-on nail and a drop to your natural nail. [1, 2]
- Press: Hold the press-on nail down firmly at a 45-degree angle, starting from the cuticle line, and press flat for 30 full seconds to eliminate air bubbles. [1, 2]
- NEVER rip or force the nails off. This will damage your natural nail beds and ruin the press-on structure. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- The Soak Method: Fill a bowl with warm water, a few drops of dish soap, and a generous amount of cuticle oil or olive oil. [1]
- Soak & Lift: Submerge your hands for 15β20 minutes. Gently use your wooden cuticle stick to test the edges. If the glue is loose, gently lift the press-on from the sides. If it resists, soak for another 5β10 minutes. [1, 2, 3]
- Do NOT use Acetone: Pure acetone will melt the soft gel base, dissolve the 3D sculpting, and destroy your $300 set. Stick strictly to warm water, soap, and oil.
